|FTTH Innovation Platform Starts in The Netherlands|
Beginning of April a new Innovation Platform started in The Netherlands. The objective of this group is to further optimize the mass deployments of fibre networks with the goal to implement solutions to connect 500.000 households to FTTH each year in The Netherlands.
The innovation platform is run by the independent research institute Novay based on an initiative started by the Dutch FTTH operator Reggefiber. GIPPa – the name of the platform – already brings together more than 12 companies which set up working groups to different topics of fibre deployments. More information can be found in the following press release.
